The Cumberland Close Gallery
We now have four sections to our Gallery, all with a different focus and each set out in such a way that they have become cosy, intimate spaces to appreciate art in. Our main section, the largest area on entering the Gallery, hosts our Quarterly Themed Exhibitions. The Corner Section is very much like a cosy snug area where you can turn your back on the Gallery and just focus on the four walls displaying our general mixed artworks or a special monthly exhibition. Moving onto the next area, which is much more open and lends itself well to being our Featured Artist Area or an extension of our general mixed artworks. Our fourth section is all about price with affordability being the main focus. Here, in this bay window area, we have our Affordable Art Section. A little something for smaller budgets - and not always small works of art.

We award a £30.00 Cash Prize to the Artist with the most votes during our three Seasons of Exhibiting - Spring, Summer and Winter.

Our 2024 Open Spring Exhibition is a mixed group exhibition of non-professional, semi-professional and professional artists. We invite artists of all levels of experience and training to submit work for consideration in the Pauline Keen Memorial Purchase Award. The Keen family are providing a purchase fund of up to £500 for the purchase of artwork(s) in memory of their daughter Pauline who died in 2020. The winning Artist will also receive an Award Certificate.
Private viewings outwith the normal Gallery opening hours can be arranged by appointment.
