Introducing: ANNIE McLEAN
Annie is both the Managing Director and the Resident Artist at Ainetheon Arts Ltd. Art was the first passion Annie had as a child but like many thwarted artists Life took over and dictated ‘sensible’ approaches to making a living. After two main careers and raising a family, Annie in 2000 created Ainetheon Arts to accommodate her writing then a few years later her artwork. For several years Annie combined the ‘day job’ with her art work, exhibiting regularly in Suffolk from 2008 and building a semi-professional business. In 2014 Annie opened an art gallery and studio in Kirriemuir, finally realising her dream of becoming a full-time Professional Artist. Early 2018 Annie closed her gallery to look after her mother who sadly passed away the following year. In 2021, after the Covid restrictions were eased, Annie opened a gallery in Coupar Angus, Perthshire. Two years later Annie moved her Gallery back to Kirriemuir. Here Annie exhibits on a regular basis and is contactable through the gallery during opening hours. Annie has her studio in Kirriemuir and runs regular Open Studio events on a Sunday.
