What Does An Artist Do All Day?

This exhibition is quite different from all the others - it is all about how artwork comes into being. The Gallery is empty for the next couple of weeks in the run up to Strathmore Open Studios [26-29 August 2022], Solo Exhibition by Annie McLean [30 August - 10 September] and the Postcard Challenge Exhibition [16-25 September]. The ‘WIP’ [Work in Progress] on show during this particular exhibition consists of the proverbial ‘blank canvas’; half-finished canvases from months/years back; studies of various sizes; sketchbooks; and all manner of things that an artist gathers, works with and adds to an artwork. Come along to the Gallery in Coupar Angus and watch the paint dry!

Ainetheon Arts Ltd is an Independent Gallery and Working Studio welcoming art lovers, collectors, creatives and artists to browse and purchase artworks as well as a place to be creative. Our exhibition period runs from March – December. Opening Hours are Thursday - Sunday 10-5pm (lunch 1-2pm) and by appointment on Mondays. We are closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Most Sundays are Open Studio Days from 11-4pm. All enquiries welcome.
