OPEN SPRING EXHIBITION

Our 2024 Open Spring Exhibition is a mixed group exhibition of non-professional, semi-professional and professional artists. We invite artists of all levels of experience and training to submit work for consideration in the Pauline Keen Memorial Purchase Award. The Keen family are providing a purchase fund of up to £500 for the purchase of artwork(s) in memory of their daughter Pauline who died in 2020. The winning Artist will also receive an Award Certificate.

Private viewings outwith the normal Gallery opening hours can be arranged by appointment.

Our April Featured Artist is Caroline Keen who is an experienced Multi-Disciplined Artist and a UKCP / HCPC registered Integrative Arts Psychotherapist . Her recent collection of work explores in imagery the relationship with self, other and the world. This new collection offers snap shots into moments of existence as humans making our way in this ever changing world around us. Caroline's work is influenced by her own reflection on experience and is expressed using a variety of mediums to help convey a particular meaning or emotion. Caroline enjoys the organic nature of printing and mixed media which helps build this level of depth.
